Early this morning, Spartan cadets joined approximately 90 other Denver cadets to participate in our week long JROTC summer at the Peaceful Valley Boy Scout Camp, south of Kiowa, Colorado.

A storm front, promising cold and wet weather, was moving in as they departed, but forecasts indicate that nice weather will soon follow.

They are scheduled to return at about noon time this coming Friday.

I'm sure they'll be glad to regale any listeners with their tales of life in the wilderness upon their return.
